This is an exciting time for me. I am casting an even wider leadership net through my newest endeavour, BigFish Executive Search, a firm dedicated to finding and landing exceptional leaders for organizations interested in a more contemporary, collaborative and affordable approach.
My strong track record of helping to build successful executive and senior management teams is achieved through my in-depth knowledge of recruitment and the marketplace. But what I believe sets me apart in executive search is that I understand what it takes to build a business from the ground up and how to assess leadership capabilities swiftly and competently. My counsel is strategic, but practical. I can be counted on to be a trusted partner of any organization.
When I graduated from Simon Fraser University and began work for a multinational recruitment firm, I knew my entrepreneurial spirit would eventually lead me to forming my first consultancy, IT MindFinders, and I am so proud of its 20-year history of achieving results. That same drive is fuelling the creation of my second—BigFish—an extension of my passion and expertise in connecting people, purpose, and fit. This is what I believe has made all the difference to my clients over the past two decades and will for years to come.

After completing a Bachelor of Business Degree from Simon Fraser University, Sarah spent 16 years working in various human resource roles within several business sectors. It is there that Sarah’s commitment to finding a strong blend of competency, values, and fit in recruitment, was born. Her appreciation for this critical trifecta has grown exponentially with every leadership placement she has championed.
Today, Sarah is dedicated to expert sourcing. Her secret ingredient? Taking care of our candidates. At BigFish, we believe that supportive and informed candidate counsel is a critical, yet often overlooked piece of the search process.
